Plus, our pasture-raised hens are treated with the utmost care and respect, ensuring they live a happy, stress-free life even far after they stop laying.

Day 01
Hand Gathered Each Day
Heading down to the coop morning and evening is a peaceful routine we cherish. As the sun rises and sets, we make our way to the hens, excited to gather fresh eggs that have been carefully laid throughout the day. It’s a calming ritual that allows us to check on the health and happiness of our flock, ensuring that each egg collected is of the highest quality for you.
Day 01-02
Eggs Washed
Egg washing is an essential part of our process to ensure the eggs are clean and safe for you. After collecting the eggs, we carefully wash them to remove any dirt, debris, or natural residue that may have gathered on the shells. This step is important because it helps maintain the freshness and hygiene of the eggs before they are placed in their cartons. By thoroughly cleaning each egg, we ensure they arrive at your door ready for use, so you can enjoy them with peace of mind.

Day 02-03
Packing Orders
At Elchwiese, we believe in giving each order the personal touch it deserves. That's why we take the time to hand-wax stamp every egg carton, adding a unique, rustic charm to each one. As a special gesture, we also hand-pick a feather from our flock and include it with every carton of our beautiful rainbow eggs. It’s our way of sharing a piece of our farm with you and ensuring that each egg comes with care, love, and a bit of our farm’s character.
Day 03-04
Eggs Delivered
That’s it! Your eggs have either been delivered straight to your door or now ready for pickup at our NEW farmstead coming Summer 2025. Thank you so much for choosing us—your support means the world.
